Dream summer house in Tinos

Vanaf de ferry is de accommodatie in 5 minuten met de taxi bereikbaar (7 EUR). Later hadden we een huurauto, wat praktisch is, maar niet strikt noodzakelijk. Het strand en restaurants zijn vlakbij. Direct beneden (5 minuten lopen) kom je via een trap bij een beschut baaitje, heerlijk om te zwemmen. Wel is een huurauto aan te raden, vanwege de leuke dorpjes die je op Tinos kan bezoeken. Of de goed uitgeruste supermarkt in Tinos Town. De host was heel actief met tips over het eiland. Het huis zelf is erg comfortabel, met drie slaapkamers beneden en een gezellige woonkamer en keuken boven. Het heeft een heerlijk privé zwembad met veel privacy en prachtig uitzicht. Wij vonden niet alleen het huis, maar ook het eiland Tinos ontzettend leuk. Het waaide wel hard (schijnt veel voor te komen ‘s zomers) maar ook hiervoor had de host allerlei tips voor meer beschutte strandjes.

Zoals in meer reviews te lezen is de beneden verdieping wat donkerder, wat voordelen heeft (koelte) maar ook wel nadelen (het blijft er inderdaad wat vochtiger)

If you want to be in Paradise, this is the place! The villa is uniquely positioned on the gulf of Kionia, 3 mins by car from Tinos town. A stunning view on the blue sea and several Cycladic Islands (Syros, Delos, Naxos, Paros) will accompany your stay. Sunsets from the terrace and the pool are unforgettable. The place is super calm among olive threes and cactuses. The private pool is entertained daily and the outside area between the sofa and chairs and little garden with pomegranate threes is extremely pleasant. Magnificent sandy beaches and also rocky ones are within walking distance. Restaurants in Kionia are very good. The villa has an amazing taste, both architecturally and as interior design. The upper floor is spacious and well ventilated and the kitchen is very well furnished, including with dishwasher. The rooms are on the lower floor which makes them fresh and calm and you will hardly need a/c as they are perfect (and we have been there during the 2023 heat wave!). Bathrooms are functional and there is a washing machine and ironing board in case needed. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. It was very easy to access and there is private parking on spot below a bouganvilla. Communicating with Erato was extremely easy and she responds within minutes to messages. She and her mom were very kind on our arrival and throughout the stay with touristic and other advise and gifts. It was a true pleasure to visit the Island of Tinos (everything is 15-18 mins away) and the place is the best ratio price for upper quality. We would have stayed a month!! Efharisto
