The staff at the hotel named Sumit was so helpful and Caring. Anytime asking for anything, he solved immediately. Also the Management team is also good. The location is also excellent.

It's important to realize that a lot of the more positive reviews for this guesthouse are actually for the Seilan by Sunrise. It's right across the alley and where you check in and eat breakfast. The Seilan is much, much nicer. It's clear that all the low reviews here are for City Stay. The staff are lovely and accommodating and aim to please. We had the two rooms on the first floor. They were attractive enough and the mattresses, pillows and linens were fine. There was a layer of dust on the surfaces and glasses but no big deal. Fine if you want a budget stay.

The air conditioning was super powerful, but in the front room, shortly after going to bed, it started dripping on the headboard. Soon it was a full trickle right onto the pillow and mattress. Since it was quite late, we just moved the bed away from the wall and put down a towel. Made it a little hard to get out of the room, but we were only there one night. No hot water, but turns out we just hadn't been told how to switch it on. ☹️
