Overall really clean place - rooms and shared facilities!
Self check in. Still prefer a manual reception however, its cool to check in with self help kiosk. Central heating. Even after turning off the knob for heating, the room still feels really warm.

It was a good location, close to the walks in Tongariro. Lovely atmosphere in the backpacker with other travellors, lovely equipped kitchen.
I upgraded my room to one with a television, but it didn't work, couldn't get any tv station to go on. Was a little disappointing but still glad we got a bigger a room with a double bed thxs.
