Brač, Supetar, ART HOUSE, Dreamy Dalmatian vacation home, 80m from sea

This is a very unique stay. The host Dragisa is very warm & gave us a private tour of her art & antiques collection in the basement of the Art House. Her passion for her collection was infectious. The Art House is one of those rare finds from the moment you open the door into the cute little courtyard with it's many handcrafted tiles & potted plants. As you climb the stairs into the main house with kitchen, bathroom, lounge/dining area & a huge bedroom with windows that open to a view of the sea & then to finish it all off you climb a narrow set of stairs up to a 2nd lounge/reading room & out onto the patio where you can sit & watch the ferry from Split cruise by. It's your own little holiday house & it has been one of our favourites in our 5 week travels. It has everything you need for a few days to a few weeks stay(even a washing machine). We arrived by ferry & our google maps took us a very long way around when in fact it is a 5 min walk from the town where there are many restaurants, bars, a supermarket(one of about 3 in town), 5 mins from the bus station, 5 mins to the nearest beach. We loved everything about our stay & can't recommend it highly enough. 11/10!

There is nothing you won't love about The Art House.

Una casa vacanza con storia, anima e fascino autentico. Arredata con gusto e impreziosita da vere opere d’arte e oggetti che raccontano la passione dei proprietari per l’arte. Gli ambienti sono curati nei minimi dettagli, pulitissimi e dotati di ogni comfort. La posizione è perfetta: a pochi passi dal centro storico e dalle spiagge. La terrazza con vista mare è ideale per una colazione al mattino o per rilassarsi la sera. I proprietari sono gentilissimi e sempre disponibili. Siamo ripartiti con il desiderio di tornare al più presto. Consigliatissimo!

Non c'è nulla che non mi sia piaciuto.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful old refurbished house in the center of Supetar. It has a lovely courtyard full of stone artwork, a nice terrace and a beautiful interior with paintings and antiques. The bathroom is clean and new, the kitchen has all the appliances and there is AC, which is a must during summer days and nights. The location is amazing, as it is central - close to shops and restaurants but also close to the beaches. Supetar has lots of beaches to choose from, we recommend Vela Luka sandy beach. Our host, mrs Dragica, was delightful and very helpful, such an art lover and enthusiast. It was truly amazing and unforgettable.
