Lovely peaceful spot right on the lagoon in hikkaduwa. Rooms are very comfortable with home made products. The family took very good care of us with daily breakfast and making sure we had everything we needed.

This is a hidden treasure imbedded alongside a lagoon connected to the ocean. The best parts are you will have an opportunity to rent a canoe (free) with safe jacket in early morning before sunrise out to however far you want to paddle out to AND you will have a breakfast sitting along the edge of water enjoy sunrise. The breakfast is plenty and very local authentic including hot meals. I also like the size of bathroom (huge) and bed size. The host is super friendly welcoming you to the property. Its very quiet place and clean. For dinner, there are many good options and the host is willing to send a tutu for small fee back and forth

Its minor improvement but there is no sign on the location and a bit walk from the main street. I have a driver and could not locate it. Therefore, I strongly recommend you contact the host via WhatsApp 15 min before arrival. The host will wait you at the cross road leading to the property. As soon as you arrive, you will be pleased with what you have decided to stay.

The family who run it are lovely. From the moment we booked they were on hand to help. We were greeted with flowers when we arrived. The room was wonderful and the location exceptional. With just 2 villas you have your own slice of paradise. We hired the kayak and explored the lagoon in the afternoon and then again for sunrise the next day. The night was peaceful with only wildlife as our soundtrack. Breakfast the next day was excellent. Both cooked food and fresh fruit. We were gifted cinnamon tea as we left, which was a lovely touch. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to escape Hikkaduwa’s busy street bustle.
