The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The hosts (a lovely husband-and-wife team) were very friendly and welcoming, always greeting us with a smile and making sure we had everything we needed. The swimming pool was large and refreshing - perfect for cooling off on a hot day. We also appreciated the thoughtful layout of the space, with a bathroom, mini-kitchen, bedroom, and a balcony that suited us very well.

The property and facilities are showing their age and would benefit from some refurbishment. While it’s clear that the lodge once had a high standard (it even won Booking.com awards in the past), areas such as the buildings, entertainment/fitness area, reception, car park, driveway, and landscaping now feel a little tired. For example, the grounds could be tidied by maintaining the grass and garden more regularly, as well as removing or storing unused items (like the broken-down golf buggy, old boat, or digger). It’s still a great place to stay, and with some reinvestment and upgrades, it has the potential to feel fresh and new again, bringing out its full charm as a quality countryside accommodation.

Idyllisch gelegen, jedoch ziemlich weit weg vom Strand. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich. Man hat einen tollen Ausblick.

Die Anlage und auch die Unterkunft sind sehr in die Jahre gekommen.
