The property is at an excellent location! Be prepared there are armed guards across the street guarding a Jewish school location, but it just means, you will be extra safe. My daughter and I loved the peace of mind from the triple deadbolt too, especially with being on the main floor. There is a near ceiling window that opens inward for some air flow, and a lower one, we only opened while in the suite. The only reason for 1 less on comfort is the lack of air conditioning, but the hosts kindly provided fans, which helped, but in 35-38 C weather, there is not much fans can do. It made sleeping challenging, but that is not the fault of this cute cozy little studio, which is ideally located in the Latin quarter. We loved the local Boulangerie’s lovely traditional artisan baguettes with crystal butter and the Farnprix’s deli meats and cheeses and milk, just up the street. So many great places within walking distance to explore! Having our own kitchen saved us a ton, but the excellent crepes nearby and amazing food at every turn were so tempting! (Brunch over at Paul & Juliette while waiting for the galleries Lafayette shopping mall to open, was the best omelette ever!) And I truly enjoyed the nespresso machine and microwave for making my morning latte! Having Netflix to easily log in to, a kettle, toaster, microwave, mini fridge with tiny freezer to make ice cubes, and practical utensils, cork screw, scissors, steak knives, etc, just made us feel so at home! I would never stay at a hotel again after this experience. Enjoying a cooler morning stroll through Parisian streets and a local market just down the street made the experience truly exceptional! Yes it’s tiny, but honestly they thought of everything! Including the nespresso pods and salt and pepper as well as lovely soft sheets and fluffy white towels! Thank you David and Warren for a fabulous holiday in Paris and the feeling of truly being a local for just a little while!

A rua não é muito legal, no prédio da frente tem um guarda que não deixa nem o taxi parar para tirar as malas… Não gostei do lugar.

No breakfast supplied, as it was a self-managed apartment. Location was great! Close to one of our favourite areas. Hot water service was really good. Quiet at night, so getting to sleep was not a problem. The rustic/historic decor was well done and mostly worked well, for the practical usage. The main bed was excellent and the sofa bed easy to unfold and fold up. The apartment has charm and character.

Shower doors could work better in keeping the shower water inside the shower. The doors need fixing. The seal between the doors needs replacing, so that the doors stay closed inside the shower alcove, not outward, which lets water drain onto the bathroom floor. The hand basin really needs to be bigger! It cannot be used 'normally' i.e. as one would expect to use it.
