Red Hawk Lodge #2204

We LOVED the location of this unit, it was unbeatable. The price was great compared to anything else in the building or within Keystone village. It was a GREAT value. It is about a 3 min walk to the gondola, for about $100 less per night than the next cheapest option. Split 3 ways this was a wonderful value (maybe the low snow of early 2025-26 contributed to the price). The unit included humidifiers which was a bonus - I've stayed at places in CO without them and it results in a bloody nose every morning. That was no problem in this unit.

The kitchen claimed to be stocked with "cooking essentials" but it was NOT - there was NO salt and pepper (welcome package said there would be) and NO oil to cook with. Management recommended I go buy oil - so I have to buy a bottle of olive oil and then throw away 95% of it since TSA will definitely not let you carry oil onto a plane. There is also a very annoying mechanical hum inside the unit that never went away. We could never figure out exactly what it was. Maybe the pool pump or pool heater or garage fans or something like that. It was very annoying for a couple days but eventually we got used to it. The couch is seriously worn out and needs replaced.

The room was spacious and nicely decorated. The kitchen was fully equipped including spices. The microwave was out of service, but a call to maintenance provided us with a counter top replacement.

The kitchen sink faucet was loose as well as the toilet paper holder in the master bathroom. The microwave was off line and appeared to have been so for quite some time. The counter top unit that I requested should have been in place shortly after the original microwave failed.

Location is great for hitting the lifts, not as good for spending time in River Run (eating and shopping). Comfortable and clean room, we had plenty of space. Not one issue during our stay.

Keystone didn't have many lifts or trails open during our stay, so it was disappointing to pay the amount we did and not have the opportunity to ski like we wanted too. We ended up driving to other resorts for most of our trip.
