We did not know where the lock box was! We found it on the side of a window! The owner uses a cleaning company- she needs to keep her eye on this- it is not ideal

Everything!!!
We had a couple of hiccups - thermostat is on the wall as you come out of the shower, which we found as we were packing to leave AND the chimney hadn’t been swept yet so our driftwood fire didn’t quite go as planned.

Fantastic location
Excellent views of a place very dear to me
The cottage was clean, well equipped and to an excellent standard

Location was fabulous. Access to the property via flight of steps was challenging. I expected this but I felt that immediate access via the steps to the front door was dangerous
Although the cottage was relatively clean on first inspection the paintwork throughout was grubby and there were a lot of cobwebs .We found it hard to locate some items and there wasn't a sharp knife in the place. A nice touch was the welcoming bottle of prosecco.
