About this house rental
Escape to our lakefront bungalow located on Massachusetts largest recreational lake. Otis Reservoir is ideal for boating, swimming, and fishing. During the off season our home is a great get-away from the hustle and bustle. There are very few residents around which gives a complete feel of serenity. When the lake freezes over you can ice skate, ice fish and there are snowmobile trails nearby. Please check out The Knox Trail Sno-Riders online for snowmobile information.
We are 20 minutes from the Berkshire Attractions including.
Jacobs Pillow and Otis Ridge. The State Forest is also nearby with many hiking trails.
Our kitchen is stocked to prepare any meal. There is a full dining room with a table that sits 6, as well as a living room that has many window views of the beautiful lake. There is a master bedroom with a full bath located on the lower level that has a king bed and cable t.v. Another room (3rd bedroom) adjoining consists of a twin bed and cable t.v. A second guest bedroom is located on main floor that has a bunkbed which consists of 2 double beds. This room also has a cable t.v. There is 1 full bathroom on main floor and another on lower level.
The backyard has a patio overlooking the lake. Plenty of lounge furniture to sit and relax, or grill out and dine outside on at the 6 person outdoor table. ( we do not supply propane for grill) . Katie's Country Store is conveniently located minutes away. We have a firepit and side yard to play corn hole . We aslo have 3 kayaks, 1 canoe, and a 4 person pedal boat . Bring your boat and dock right at our personal dock.
**Please note that we do not have a huge driveway. You can fit 3 cars on a angle or a boat trailer and 2 cars .

Otis reservoir is one of my favorite places on earth. Tracy's place is right on the water and having a dock to moor our 18 foot sport boat was fabulous. We sat by the fire pit on two separate evenings and use the grill as well. The cottage was extremely comfortable! Everyone remarked on what great night sleeps they got.The neighbors were also very friendly. It was a wonderful family vacation.

Lovely house right on the water. Very clean, very comfy. Easy parking. Beautiful water views. Lots of outdoor furniture. Kayaks, paddle boat, fishing poles, grill! Everything you need!

Place was very comfortable. Immaculate clean and decorated nice. Comfortable couch, cable tv, and mattresses also comfortable.
Two bed rooms (one in basement) doesn’t make for a ton of privacy but we were there for the location. Dock was perfect for our ski boat and kids loved fishing. Launched at the marina. Were able to park our trailer and truck on site at the cottage.
Kitchen had all the essentials and pots/pans to cook as well as a keurig and coffee pot (coffee grounds, filters, and assorted salt/pepper/oil in cupboard). Need to bring your own baggies, cooking spray, Saran Wrap for storing leftovers, and your own ice cube trays. Kitchen a little tight but that’s cottage living.
2 bathrooms were a plus, towels provided, need to bring your own soap/shampoo.
Laundry on site but need to bring your own detergent.
We brought our own wood for the fire pit. gas grill on location for grilling, but probably needs to be replaced soon. Outdoor furniture was great/ table on patio was a tad wobbly.
Overall we had a wonderful stay and would 💯 return again.

Excellent host very responsive . Location is wonderful in cove perfect for swimming and paddling .
Home is cottage family style, clean with everything you need . Store is close by to grab firewood and gas for grill
