Two blocks from the Gulf, pet-friendly, and tucked behind a private fenced yard — Avenue A Retreat is the kind of Bradenton Beach vacation rental that feels like it belongs to you for the week.
The layout is simple and comfortable. Two bedrooms, each with a queen bed, sleep four easily — and the sofa sleeper in the living room means you can bring a group of six without anyone drawing the short straw. Both bathrooms are full. A flat-screen TV in every room means everyone has their own space when the beach day winds down.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook in — full-size appliances, cookware, and all the basics. The full-size washer and dryer mean you can pack lighter and stay fresher. No coin laundry, no waiting — it's right there when you need it.
Outside is where Avenue A Retreat earns its name. The screened porch is set up with a table and chairs — a shaded spot for morning coffee, evening cocktails, or a meal without the bugs. Step out from there into the fully fenced backyard with a grill to give you everything you need for a proper cookout. The yard is private, quiet, and completely fenced — which means your dog has room to run while you stay exactly where you are.
The beach is a two-block walk. The free Anna Maria Island trolley stops nearby, putting Bridge Street's restaurants, shops, and the historic pier within easy reach without ever needing your car. We enjoyed our stay! Our 13 yo spent a ton of time fishing in the canal at the end of the street. House was clean and well equipped.

A great place, nicely furnished, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The beach cart to haul everything was a nice surprise. About 5 minute walk to a nice, uncrowded beach.

The house itself is lovely. A very good layout for two couples. The yard needed a bit of work. did not have good curb appeal as we arrived. Dead plants in the front in planters that could easily be removed and sprucing up. Backyard needed trimming and sprucing to truly enjoy the space. The location was perfect for restaurants and beach. All in all I would return.
