About this house rental
Holiday in a modern and spacious country escape in the heart of the Yarra Valley wine region. A 13 acre property all yours to enjoy. Located to allow you to either take in the peace and quiet of your own country property or explore the best of the yarra valley, located within 10 - 15 minutes of Yarra Glen, Healesville and Kinglake and close to a range of wineries and walks in the Toolangi state forest. A modern home decked out to suit large family getaways or special intimate weekends.
The house is 14 years old and still looks almost 'as new'. It has tiled floors throughout the living areas and carpet in all of the bedrooms. It also has a large double garage which contains a table tennis table and the house also comes with ducted heating and cooling and you also have access to a fire pit and wood heater for indoors. We provide a wheelbarrow of wood for fires and there's lots of wood available amongst the trees if you run out.
The house and the 13 acres are all yours to enjoy as part of the stay (with the exception of locked sheds containing farming equipment).

My group of 12 were lucky enough to stay in this beautiful family property for our weekend away! A short drive from some great wineries, our group enjoyed the large and most importantly clean property all to ourselves.
The house was so clean and spacious and we all enjoyed making the most of the decked out kitchen.
Katrina and Ian, really made our stay fantastic, they have been some of the best hosts that we’ve ever contacted through stayz.
We couldn’t recommend this property enough for the most perfect mix of relaxation and comfort, to the prime location.

We had a lovely stay in a very comfortable house. It was very private due to being on acreage which we loved. Communication with the host was excellent and the host was very obliging. The house was clean and bright. I gave a 4 for 'Accuracy on Listing' due to there being no hot tub but everything else was as described. We had a few games of table tennis which was fun. There is some amazing wineries close by to visit and not far away was the very popular chocolatier. We would stay again.

Katrina & Ian's house in Castella is a wonderfully quiet, clean, spacious and calming place. It's close enough to a heap of wineries in the Yarra Valley but far enough to feel like you're away from it all. Katrina & Ian were lovely, easy to talk to and very friendly. I would highly recommend!
