About this house rental
Thank you for your interest in my house.
"Umino 24" is an old traditional Okinawan house with a cement tiled roof built in 1959. It was renovated, the whole house is for rental.
How about a retreat trip where you can experience the ocean, greenery and ancient culture that are typical of Nanjo City, and heal your body and soul?
I would be happy if you could relax in the old folk house in Okinawa like your own house.
[The space]
The whole house is for rental.
Spend a relaxing time in a traditional Okinawan old folk house inn that has been reborn with a loft and has one entire buildings for rent ;)
We would be happy if you could enjoy a nostalgic yet new space in our renovated inn, retaining as much as possible the floor plan based on the Okinawan house layout.
It is a plan to stay without meals.
It is a village on the side of a traditional port.
The convenience store is about 3 minutes away by car.
You can also get to the large local grocery supermarket "Marudai Sashiki Ten" (OPEN 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m.) in about 10 minutes by car.

Umino24 is an absolute showstopper! Our family fell in love with this amazing house as well as the hosts! They created the perfect balance of beautiful craftsmanship and decor that intertwined traditional with modern - this place really left every member of my family speechless and in awe! Our hosts provided exceptional hospitality…they met us late at night when we arrived to show us around the place to providing detailed information about what was around us to instructions on how to use the stove. They attentional to details was amazing- left change for the dryer so we could use, had a jar of rice and bottles of water and juice, and left hand-written notes for our family with a thoughtful welcome gift of local cookies!
The area was safe and quiet…and was the perfect place for our family to stay. We travelled Japan for a total of three weeks staying a various places along the way. Umino24 was by far our favorite during our trip. We loved the design and I created a honey-do list for my husband after staying here as I want to incorporate a lot of the design that they present in this amazing place.
Can’t say enough about the positive impact the hosts and the house had on our trip to Okinawa! Thank you Umino24!!!
