About the Mid-Century Retreat Space:
Important information before booking.
The Mid-Century Retreat is a one-story house. To access our beautiful retreat, you will need to go up two steps on the front porch. This 1960’s architectural design has a step-down living room that is accessible from the foyer and dining room area. The sliding patio door off the dining room gives you access to the outdoor patio area by stepping down two steps. This home will give you all the vacation vibes you seek right away!
What we provide during your stay:
• We have a two-car driveway for parking.
• We provide cable TV, High-Speed Wi-Fi so you can watch movies and videos with your own Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, You tube, accounts etc.
• Our calendar is usually open 12 months in advance, don't hesitate to reach out.
• The Mid-Century Retreat is perfect for a family/friend’s group from 2 to 8 people.
• 1880 sq. ft.
• One Floor
• Fully equipped Kitchen
• Washing Machine & Dryer
• 3 Bedrooms (Two Queen Bedrooms, One with Twins Beds).
• Closet in each bedroom with dressers in each queen bedroom.
• Nightstands and lamps in each bedroom.
• Hangers in each closet.
• 1 full bathroom (one shower, one tub) double vanity sinks, with toilet.
• 1 half bath with sink and toilet.

Kim and Eric were wonderful hosts. They thought of the smallest details that made our stay a happy one. We had 2 small boys with us and the house was kid friendly. We would love to stay in the future!

We came to Lansing to visit family and unfortunately attend a funeral. This rental made our stay so comfortable and easy. The host was nothing short of spectacular - very communicative, thoughtful, and generous. They thought of everything, stuffed animals for our kids, firewood and s’mores stuff for the fire pit, and plenty of bathroom effects for the traveler who may have forgotten to pack all their toiletries. I would absolutely stay again the next time we’re in Lansing!

We were celebrating Christmas Eve and Christmas Day here with in town and out of town family. Upon entering the home I was truly impressed with all of the Christmas decorations including the Christmas tree that also had gifts for us from the host! It truly felt like a getaway. I did all of the he cooking and loved, loved the size of the kitchen and it had everything I needed. The home was cozy, updated and the host went above and beyond with capturing Christmas. Very attentive. I would definitely stay again!
