About this cottage rental

Enjoy a slice of the Caribbean right here in Michigan. The crystal clear, turquoise water is mesmerizing. Enjoy stunning sunsets right from the back porch. This is boaters paradise. Spend the day kayaking the beautiful waters of Torch Lake and the evenings roasting marshmallows around the firepit. Wine tasting opportunities are within minutes of the cottage as well.

Great experience with this rental at beautiful Torch Lake! House is a lot roomier than pictures show - we had a decent size group without any space concerns. Kitchen is very well stocked with dishes/cookware for preparing meals at the house - there is new large gas grill on the balcony off the main living area and an older traditional charcoal grill down by the fire pit area. Great view of the lake and amazing sunsets. Property has deeded access to the lake which is pretty narrow but great for use of kayaks which are provided. There is a wider public access about 50 yards down the road from the property - we rented a boat one of our days and the wider access provided a convenient place to load and unload our group. Todd was very easy to contact and very responsive. Overall a very positive experience!

House is much bigger than it looks. It doesn’t have any beach space. Just a very very narrow path to the water. No yard in front of water. I guess that’s what “deeded access” means. I didn’t know that. Host is very nice and responsive. Little pricey. But it’s more the Vrbo fees that are out of control. Lastly, I thought the cleaning list was a bit much esp based on what we paid.
