About this chalet rental
A comfortable, energy-efficient chalet in a very quiet location, just a stone's throw from the Transjuracienne trail and less than 2 km from the town center (supermarket, movie theater, restaurant). Traditional cheese shop 500 m away. Cross-country ski trails and hiking trails start just 200 meters away. “Chez Valentin” restaurant/bistro is less than 1 km away.
The small alpine ski resort of Foncine-le-Haut is ideal for teaching children to ski
The chalet features a large, bright 40-square-meter living area with underfloor heating and a fully equipped built-in kitchen (refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, multi-function food processor, raclette/fondue set).
-> Stunning views of the valley, and sunlight streaming into the house from morning to night.
An entry SAS, designed to store all outdoor gear year-round, with ample storage for clothes and shoes and direct access to the laundry room, which is equipped with a washing machine, drying rack, and toilet.
Upstairs, there are 3 beautiful bedrooms, including:
->1 master suite with a double bed, shower, and sink.
->1 adult bedroom with a double bed, a pull-out bed for children (70x140 cm), and a travel crib.
->1 “children’s” bedroom equipped with a bunk bed, 2 trundle beds, and a comfortable sofa bed (140x190) suitable for both children and adults.
A box of books and games is available for the children.
And finally, a second bathroom and a separate toilet.
To enjoy the beautiful weather in both summer and winter, a large terrace (60m²) facing north, west, and south welcomes you at any time of day with an unobstructed view of the valley and access to the garden
Ideal for 1 or 2 families, up to 10 people, and in all seasons!

Lovely Chalet. Brand new. A few bits of finishing required such as the shutters on some windows haven't been installed, and the BBQ stand is an old oil drum. Amazing view and lovely decking area to sit out. Chalet was very spacious and had everything we needed. A great hang out area in the downstairs and the finish is nice. It was very clean too. A few more mugs would be nice. It should exclusively say on the listing "no Wifi" to be clearer. I think most guests expect wifi as normal these days. Would stay again.
