Fantastic location! Direct beach access, they are big spacious rooms ALL with ensuites & lots of storage. Huge lounge for the whole family. A very well stocked kitchen including coffee machine, ice cube trays etc the laundry even had a clothes rack which was great. However the verandah is what was our absolute favourite, we spent most of our time outside admiring the view.

Only 1 parking space (not even a seperate visitor’s parking bay), the pick up & drop off process with the keys (again its a parking issue in busy Nelsons Bay), no hand soap supplied at vanity’s for washing hands, while we tried to keep the property clean it was hard with minimal cleaning supplies (no toilet cleaner or decent vacuum) & no second TV available (this is being very fussy though).

Getting expensive for Soldiers Point

Amazing location with perfect views. Stunning spacious apartment, lovely modern fit out. Big washing machine provided and expensive kitchen appliances including dishwasher and zip tap. Sharp knives very appreciated. The big balcony was amazing to sit on and relax.

No soap provided in the bathrooms. While I understand no obligation to provide expensive bathroom products, a few cheap bars of soap should have been provided for the sake of hygiene. Only one towel per person provided for the length of the stay and one tea towel so recommend taking your own towels.

We loved the location and the view from the verandah. The verandah itself was spacious with an 8 seater table. Each room having its own ensuite was a major plus. The property was easy to access and all on one level. The undercover secure parking for 2 cars was excellent. A side path leads down to the quiet beach in about 30 seconds. Kitchen facilities are above average, and the open lounge, dining, kitchen area is very spacious. The Cheeky Dog pub and the Soldiers Point Bowling Club are within minutes walk. A short walk up a track near the jetty to the Sailing Club and you have great coffee. Fishing your thing? The beach and the jetty offer plenty of spots.

Key pickup and drop off is a bit of a pain being in Nelson Bay.
