Paythorne Farmhouse

Location was amazing. Beautiful views and the cottage wasn't too hot although the outside temperature was over 35 degrees. Plenty of space to spread out, so many rooms. Also very well stocked kitchen, 20 mins from the beach and country walks on the door step

Location is stunning and peaceful. House is old and quirky but lovely and homely. Very spacious, rooms were fab

2 of the bedrooms are in the eaves (very low ceilings) but with NO doors!

Fab house for family with children. Big indoor space with plenty of equipment and toys and games provided. It's an old house but in good decorative order and clean. Rooms were all comfortable but lived in so better with children. We had lovely weather and the out door space is huge. Well kept lower garden and nice family terrace. We could have spent our days here without going out. Small children need supervision as steps down Are worn. Wonderful views

Some cupboards in kitchen had missing knobs. Aga was warm given the weather but not uncomfortable. And going home! Our little ones cried when we left.

A lovely place in which you feel so at home it’s hard to leave. Lovely views. Spacious dining and living rooms. Tasteful furniture and decor. Comfy beds. Well-equipped kitchen with (a rare treat) an Arga. Some lovely touches of antiquity like an old fashioned desk, a characterful upright wooden beam, a nice lived-in atmosphere. A total delight.

When you arrive and go through the drive there are several buildings and it’s not obvious which to go to. The trick is to drive (or walk) straight on till you get to the furthest building, on your right. This info could be useful especially for those arriving after dark.
