The room had only a bed, a desk, and a chair. That is it.

This house contains more than four rooms. A thin sheet was the only blanket at a temperature of -10 degrees. There was no towel, no hair dryer. The heater was quite inefficient, rendering it incapable of adequately heating the room. Other individuals were present in the building, and they engaged in verbal fights, shouting, and yelling at each other until 3 a.m. They used cursing in their communication. The homeowner did not respond to my requests for help or text messages. I was quite nervous. I do not recommend it.

It cost under 100$ a night, but still was not worth the money

-unclean room -unclean bathroom -bug traps everywhere -mold in bathroom and bedroom -god awful parking situation -walls were thin as paper -didnt receive info for how to check in until an hour after checking in was supposed to be available -floors were dirty

Room was cold. Just one blanket that was not sufficient. I asked for another, but could not have one. One towel provided: no hand towel or wash cloth. There was a space heater, but it wasn’t very sturdy. Owner not on site. Complications related to other guests that could not manage lock boxes on doors. First night there was frantic knocking at front door that went on for 10 minutes or more. Second night was noisy. Kitchen not well stocked. I couldn’t find cutlery.

The bathroom needs some refreshing. The room needs curtains or shades for sunny mornings and better privacy.

We did not stay because of overwhelming dog feces odour in the entrance and main floor suite.

We arrived and both my wife and I noticed a strong dog feces odour. We immediately phoned Albert Housing and coincidentally a representative was onsite whom identified himself as the manager. The manager did not offer alternative accommodations, he argued that he couldn't smell anything or perhaps it was a cooking odour but refused to go outside and return to see if he could smell it too. Ultimately he suggested contacting the booking agent and requesting a refund. We ended up leaving and the next day I applied for a refund as suggested by the manager. Much to our surprise, the refund was denied. I messaged a couple of times to plead our case but didnt even receive the courtesy of a response. I understand that sometimes things happen beyond your control, possibly a guest unknowingly tracked in some dog feces on their shoes, or possibly someone snuck in a dog and the dog had an accident in Albert Housing. Regardless, we were very disappointed with the treatment we received and would not recommend Albert Housing to anyone we know.

Superb

Located in a beautiful and peaceful neighborhood, Albert House exceeded my expectations. It's a good vibe and my room was nothing short of amazing, one of the most restful and peaceful sleeps I've had in a very long time. The host was accommodating, and quick to respond to questions

My only complaint is that in forgetting it's a shared space with other guest, because I was on the first floor, a guest who checked in on the second floor was incessantly noisy gave a slight interruption to my peace- hearing their conversations throughout the house and loud stomping up and down the stairs. Other than this the stay was quite warm and welcoming and quite pleasant, it felt like a home away from home.

Fantastic stay with great location and exceptional service.

I had an excellent stay at this room. Very convenient location for those who arrived by train. It is quite near to the Railway Station. The street is calm and quiet at night, which made for a peaceful and restful sleep. The room and bathroom were very clean and well-maintained, and I appreciated having access to a kitchen with a microwave, kettle, and stove. One thing that really stood out to me was the exceptional service provided by the host, Faisal. Despite my late check-in at 2 am, he was there to greet me and show me around the house. He was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to answer any questions I had about the town and the transportation system. Throughout my stay, Faisal was always quick to respond to my requests for a late check-out and any other questions I had. He truly made me feel welcome and taken care of. Overall, I highly recommend this place for its great location, cleanliness, and exceptional service from the kind and friendly host Faisal.
