The Beach House

Our family of 3 (1.5 years old toddler) had an amazing stay at the Beach house. The location is great, on a quiet street just 10 meters from the waterline - overlooking the wetlands and when the tide is low you can easily walk across the wetlands to the beachside. When the tide is high you take a small fisherman "ferry" boat to cross over. There is a seafood restaurant just down the street (a bit pricey) and a casual kiosk for drinks and small snacks (cash only) both 100 meters from the apartment. Access to 3 supermarkets just 5 minutes by car on main street. The ground-floor apartment is well-equipped and spacious with 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. We also really enjoyed the outside shower / tub in the backyard after coming home sandy from the beach. The fenced-in front porch was perfect and safe for a toddler to be running around. Easy to park your car out front. Overall we loved the relaxed atmosphere, the amazing sunrises and sunsets ... watching the fisherman in the wetlands was special - we will definitely come back in the future for longer ... 4 nights wasn't enough!
