The location, the layout, overall we liked it.
No hot water for the first day and the last day. No filtered water from the fridge or sink. It wasn’t the cleanest when we arrived. There was popcorn on the ground. There were only 4 washcloths provided for the 6 of us staying there. It was EXPENSIVE and we still had to do dishes, take out trash, etc before we left. Seems like for also 8k we shouldn’t have to do any of that.

Fabulous location no matter what you want to do in Telluride. EVERYTHING is in walking distance. We barely drove after arriving. Five min to the Gondola (and coffee), 15 to the Town Park, and a couple of minutes to donuts and bagels. Great views in two directions. Recent renovation with nice materials. Tons of storage. Even a faux-steam room in one of the showers! House is nicely appointed with premium appliances, large bathrooms, comfortable beds and sofas which held our party of 7 adults and 3 kids. Kitchen is a touch small (1/2 sized dishwasher and 3/4 sized fridge) but has all of the necessary items (we cooked most of our dinners there). Having one full bathroom per bedroom was great. Nice little touches everywhere - the entryway closet had extra soap, toilet paper, detergent, and paper towels. Most of the kitchen doors had a photo taped inside which showed the contents. The hosts left a bottle of wine which the adults enjoyed and some granola bars which saved our kids during a first-day whoopsie hike (walking down from San Sophia is NOT a quick little jaunt).
The only annoyances were no blender (there is a cranky nutribullet) and a dining table that seated 8 (we had 10). There is a bit of construction happening next door (late summer 2023) so occasionally there is some loud noise during the day. What got the most complaints was, humorously enough, the bathroom soap dispensers. They were spraying soap up, down, left, right. Though that resolved itself later in the visit. Perhaps no one had rented the week before. The fact that the most annoying thing (soap dispenser) is so inconsequential speaks well of the place!
