About this villa rental
Welcome to this wonderful stoned finca with an outdoor salt pool which is surrounded by great gardens and terraces. It is perfect for 8 people in maria de la Salut.
The impressive 186 m2 house, set on a plot of more than 300,000 m2, offers a unique outdoor area where you can enjoy peace, quiet and nature. The estate features extensive gardens, long paths that invite you to stroll, and a wonderful sense of freedom. In these beautiful gardens, the lovely saltwater pool stands out: it measures 8 x 4 metres and has a depth of 1.40 to 2 metres, surrounded by around 4000 m2 of lawn, ideal for sunbathing on the 10 loungers or enjoying time with the youngest members of the family. The terrace surrounds the entire building and becomes the perfect place to enjoy summer dinners outdoors, making the most of the large barbecue. You will also find an outdoor table and chairs for 8 people under a large pergola.
The interior of the house, distributed over two floors, combines a modern style with antique furniture from the original manor house, creating a welcoming atmosphere full of character. The combination of relaxing white tones, different types of wood, touches of colour and decorative elements will make you feel right at home. The ground floor has a spacious living room open to the kitchen-dining area with air conditioning, where you can relax comfortably on the sofa while watching satellite TV. The ceramic hob kitchen has everything you need to prepare delicious recipes during your holiday. The stainless-steel and glass table is extendable, so it can seat up to 10 diners. On this same floor there is a guest toilet and a bedroom with a double bed, an en-suite bathroom with shower and access to a terrace. The remaining three bedrooms are located on the upper floor: one with two single beds and two with a double bed. They all have an en-suite bathroom with shower, a wardrobe, and are decorated with exceptional taste. If you are travelling with your baby, we can provide a cot and a high chair, and there is also a washing machine, iron and ironing board.
Maria de la Salut is a small village in the centre of Mallorca. In summer, the square becomes the perfect place to enjoy outdoor dinners and the weekly market held every Friday. In the village you will find everything you may need during your stay: pharmacy, supermarket, sports area, restaurants, bars, and more. A 15-minute drive will take you to the beach of Ca’n Picafort, a long sandy beach perfect for water sports and enjoying a drink at sunset in one of the beach bars. Other beaches, such as the coves of Cala Torta and s’Arenalet des Verger, unspoilt and less crowded areas, are half an hour from the house.
On the estate there are peacocks, sheep, horses and a variety of farm animals that you can visit if you wish, as well as a wooded area at the rear of the plot, perfect for long walks. Right next door are the old houses belonging to the property, where the maintenance staff live, although all facilities are completely private, so they will not interfere with your privacy at any time. In addition, there is a fully equipped bicycle workshop with tools and other equipment.

The villa is in a peaceful location but close to two small towns that have everything you need. The kids loved the pool and there are some lovely places to relax and a great BBQ.

What can I say, other than beautiful. Finca in lovely green surroundings in a private farm estate a short drive inland from Can Picafort. Star watchers paradise at night as little ambient light. Pool is lovely and with enough sun beds for the nine people the finca will house. A glorious week that made us wish we’d have booked a fortnight

We just returned from our holiday in Maria de la Salut. This villa is stunning and the outside area is perfect for a family holiday. There's lots to do outside including a lovely pool area, sunloungers, bedlounger, basket ball and plenty of inflatables and activities such as bat/ball. The surroundings are stunning and quiet with palm trees and rock sculptures. There are geese, sheep, peacocks and a horse in the fields around.
The indoor pool area was a nice touch although water a bit chilly and we preferred the outside area. Would be great in the colder weather when it's heated. The house was clean and decorated well. All bedrooms have an ensuite. There were a few minor issues which were a slight annoyance such as in a couple of rooms there were no shelves, drawers and only a couple of coat hangers so we couldn't unpack anything as nowhere to put it. The clothes maiden was broken, there were only 9 mugs and plates were quite small and only enough for 1 each. There were quite a few toys which were broken and tatty, for example only 1 basketball was useable, might be good to have a bit of a sort out. The electricity bill was €80 for a week which was quite steep. There was no outside light near the outside table so we had to put on some giant flood lights (which we were told to use) which is probably what cost us in electricity! There was no where to leave our rubbish.
Overall however we had a fantastic stay in a beautiful villa. The BBQ was the best BBQ we've ever used and we would highly recommend this place. There were small annoyances which are easily fixable and didn't take away from our enjoyment. We'd love to return in the future.
