About this cottage rental

Dolwen in Penmachno, Conwy, sleeps four guests in two bedrooms.

The living areas in this home consist of a kitchen/diner with an electric oven and hob, microwave, and fridge/freezer, a sitting room with TV and woodburning stove, and a sunroom. The bedrooms consist of two doubles, serviced by a cloakroom and a ground-floor shower room. Outside there is an enclosed rear garden with patio, lawn, furniture, and secure storage for bikes in the shed, along with roadside parking for unloading only and there is a public car park nearby. Two well-behaved dog welcomed, but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. You'll find a shop and a pub in 0.1 miles. Dolwen is a delightful base for a family break to Conwy. Note: There are steps in the garden. There is a GBP30.00 supplement for pets.

Region: Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Town: About 4 miles separate the little village of Penmachno from the well-known town of Betws-y-Coed, which is located in the lovely Machno Valley. While Betws-y-Coed town has a decent selection of shops, bars, and cafés, the area which is surrounded by forests, majestic mountains, and gushing rivers, is a refuge for walkers, birdwatchers, mountain bikers, and climbers. The River Conwy joins its three tributaries at this location, resulting in a variety of cascading waterfalls, river pools, and historic bridges throughout the countryside. The most well-known of these is the magnificent waterfall at Swallow Falls, which is located where the River Llugwy meets with a breath-taking chasm, creating a sight not to be missed!
