We live below the castle, on a slight hill with a view of the town and the Chiemgau Alps. It’s an ideal starting point for beautiful hikes, such as to Hochgern, Schnappenkirche, Jochbergalm, the Richard Strauss High Trail to Unterwössen, and much more.
This small apartment, beautifully situated, features a living room/bedroom with a south-facing covered balcony (view of the meadow and the Chiemgau Alps), a small kitchen, and a bathroom. Ideal for 1 to 2 people. The beds are placed apart for aesthetic reasons—one on the right against the wall, the other on the left—but can also be pushed together. (The bathroom is located in the hallway but is accessible only from this apartment.)
