Relax with the whole family in this peaceful home, just a few minutes’ walk from the beautiful—and especially child-friendly—beach in Almyrida.

A charming and cozy villa with 6 beds and the option of 2 extra beds on a double sofa bed in the TV room on the second floor.
The villa is located on the outskirts of the seaside town of Almyrida on the Apokoronas Peninsula—about 40 km from Chania Airport and about a half-hour drive from the city of Chania.
The house is divided into two floors; the first floor consists of a very well-equipped kitchen with a dining area that opens onto a cozy living room with a fireplace for the winter months, a bathroom with a shower, and a large bedroom with a double bed and access to a covered terrace.
The second floor features a lovely, bright TV room and a large bathroom with a tub and shower. There are two bedrooms with double beds, each with access to its own terrace, offering fantastic views of Souda Bay and enchanting sunsets.
All rooms on the first floor open onto a large and lovely private pool area, surrounded by beautiful Mediterranean flora and charming Cretan pots.
In the shade of the pergola is a lovely dining area with an open grill, where you can enjoy all your meals of the day while overlooking Souda Bay.
Behind the house is a charming old ruin with space to enjoy a cup of coffee at the café table, which is surrounded by newly planted fruit trees and overlooks the olive grove below.
At the back of the house, there is also private parking for 2 cars. Additionally, there are ample parking options outside the property.
From the house, it is approximately 700 meters down to the center of Almyrida. Here you’ll also find the most amazing sandy beach, which is extremely child-friendly and has pleasant water temperatures.
The area is ideal for those who want to truly unwind on vacation and simply enjoy peace, tranquility, and stunning nature and views.

We were a party of 4 and this wonderful villa was absolutely perfect for us. The communication with our host Carina was great from the point of booking and throughout.
The villa was clean and even better than the accurate pictures show. It’s walking distance to the bars, restaurants and the beach (and watersports) in Almyrida which we did on several occasions (but only walked back up the hill at night when it was cooler)! It also served as a fantastic base to see the other local villages and places of interest such as Aptera and the cities of Chania and Rethymnon.
We really enjoyed the beautiful outdoor space which provided knockout sunset views over the bay. The house is also very well equipped which provided that perfect home-from-home experience.
It was also lovely to meet Carina who was a delight to speak to and charming to learn about her.
I would not hesitate in recommending this lovely villa to holiday goers looking for a Cretan escape. Thanks Carina.
