At the junction at the bottom of this road turn RIGHT. This will lead you to a T-junction and a set of traffic light where the sea is in front of you and the Old Fortress ahead/left. Turn LEFT here. Step 2 After 200m you will pass the CORFU PALACE HOTEL on your LEFT. Follow the road uphill, joining a one-way system, around the LISTON/CRICKET PITCH, then with the entrance to the OLD FORT to your right and the MAIN PARKING area to your left, this road leads you out of Corfu Town. Step 3 Follow the road around passing the Old Port and New Port. You will come to a round-a-bout by the SETTE VENTI CAFE - Continue on this road for about 2 km until you reach a major T junction and another set of traffic lights. Step 4 Turn RIGHT here. The large supermarkets (closed on Sunday), but you will see Synka supermarket on your RIGHT and Lidl on your LEFT. Continue along this main road through many sets of traffic lights. Step 5 You will pass the new hospital (Pale blue building) on the LEFT. Keep in the RIGHT lane and turn RIGHT at the lights signposted DASIA & KASSIOPI, which will take you along the coastal road, and up the NORTH EAST COAST. Step 6 You will pass through the village of DASIA and then the narrow resort of IPSOS, a mile stretch, with the sea on your RIGHT, before climbing uphill passing a PETROL STATION on your LEFT and a FRUIT SHOP opposite. Carry on towards the small resort of BARBATI passing developments such as RIVIERA BARBATI and PIEDRA DEL MAR on you RIGHT. The sea will always be to your right. Continue north through BARBATI. Step 7 You will then reach the village of NISSAKI. Keep to the main road (do not turn off to the beach), travelling uphill until you reach the church and the main SIMPSON TRAVEL OFFICE signs, located next to it. Step 8 Continue, passing the office and 100m on your LEFT you will notice APHRODITE’S SUPERMARKET. Anthi, Vitamins and Roumelis Tavernas are on your RIGHT. After passing through the end of NISSAKI, you will pass a petrol station on your LEFT and then a sharp bend to the RIGHT with signs to KAMINAKI. Again, continue along the main road. Step 9 After 1km you will climb uphill, passing the entrance to the BLUE ATLANTICA HOTEL on your RIGHT and 100m further on you will pass the sign for AGNI. Again continue, uphill on the main road. Step 10 You will see signs for KOULOURA and KALAMI. Take this turning to your RIGHT and head downhill. The road splits at the bottom of the hill. KOULOURA TAVERNA and HARBOUR is down to your LEFT. Continue RIGHT. Villa Avra is the first driveway to the RIGHT. Drive uphill through the gates to the top of the property and you will pass the pool area on your LEFT. Instead of parking on the driveway, you may wish to park your car around to your LEFT under the shaded trees. The entrance to the house is under the covered section, the front door to your RIGHT. One bedroom is separate from the main house and is located opposite the front door. The pool area is gated. WELCOME TO VILLA AVRA!
