The historic background to and feel of the house. Beautiful finishes and details in every nook and cranny. Very comfortable bed and beddings. House was built by one of the turn of the century logger barons. Quiet location away from traffic noise.

Beautiful old Victorian with gorgeous antiques and light fixtures.
Our host was very knowledgeable about the history of the house and its connection to UW-Stout.

Very friendly. Interesting local history. All of the spaces were clean. Enjoyed the antiques. Hung out on the big porch.

Home made breakfast, beautiful rooms and property
The old stairway to second floor rooms was somewhat difficult to use. Could use an additional handrail more up to modern standards.
