I LOVE historic homes, I grew up in a home that was 102, so this home brought back some wonderful memories! The location was wonderful. We walked most often, and my children brought their bikes. The host was responsive and extremely kind. We loved that we were so close to Saint Augustine Distillery and the winery! We didn't make it to the beach and in my opinion it would need to be a drive to get there but we didn't make that trip so I can not say that factually. The master suite bed was very comfortable, and my children said they slept comfortably as well, with plenty of room and nicely decorated. I thought I would miss my fan while I slept, but thankfully, I was fine with out. We would be happy to stay again if we take the trip again.
The only thing I will note that might upset some is that the front door can be tricky, but take some time, finess, and patience. You'll be just fine.

We loved the location of the house. It is minutes from downtown and the beach perfect location! We loved how spacious it was there was enough room for our big family. We loved the fire pit in the backyard and front porch plenty of places to enjoy our evenings in. The parking was great for the city, the driveway fit three cars if you open the gate on the side of the house. I believe with a small number of maintenance issues it was a wonderful place to stay.
Unfortunately the grass was not cut and was pretty high which contributed to more mosquitoes at night. The front door although being a beautiful antique door was very hard to open. Having a larger family and loving to cook it was difficult to do so with the limited cookware. We are use to our larger rentals to have an abundance of cookware so it was odd to see most of the cabinets empty, without basic things like baking pans for the oven. The microwave door was also a little broken. The washer machine also didn't work properly with it getting stuck in the rinse and spin cycle unless you turned it off and when it spinned it would move the whole washing machine to against the dryer on the opposite side of the room.
