The Water Street Inn

The location was perfect. Central and close to any required amenities. The property had everything you needed on-site. There were plenty of pillows and blankets for everyone (there were 5 girls). All we had to do was unpack and relax. I loved that it had a full fridge/freezer and a stove for cooking our own meals. The bathroom was a good size. The backyard was fully fenced in and quite large with a nice deck for sitting down and enjoying a morning coffee. For those who have little ones, they even had a high-chair for eating, a play-pen, and bassinet for sleeping. I will definitely book again.

There was a tiny hiccup with the keys, but due the host's excellent communication, it was resolved! The place was cozy and the host is AMAZING!! It was a little chilly, but there were tons of extra blankets. Lots of space and light! Definitely one of the better places to stay in Napanee! :)

The host Billy was super friendly, responsive and helpful. He answered all our questions and even gave us some recommendations of things to do in the area. It was a great base to explore Prince Edward Country and Kingston. It’s definitely not a luxury apartment, but it was perfect for our use and the price reasonable compared to other options.

As the ad says, the property is old and we could definitely hear the people upstairs. We ran on a similar schedule so it didn’t end up bothering us, and we expected it. Some parts of the apartment don’t look as clean (ex. baseboards), but I think it’s because it’s old. The rest was clean (beds, toilet, kitchen, etc.).

This well-maintained, spacious property has it all. Comfy beds, nice furniture and a fully functional kitchen (even salt/sugar and teabags were provided, not to mention the cutlery and plates). The sunroom at the front, as well as the backyard porch add a nice touch, as does the gas BBQ - which we did not use for lack of time. The neighbouring houses seem occupied, but we did not see or hear anyone really. Very private indeed!

The kitchen might benefit from a dishwasher (but none was advertised, so no complaints). Also, the upstairs apartment is rented out separately. This is an older building so you might hear the upstairs folks walking around, moving chairs etc. They have a separate entrance though, so no interaction required :)
