Beautiful modern apartment with lovely host

We stayed here with our three month old baby and it was perfect - the host provided a good cot and baby bath. We loved the modern and beautifully designed apartment and the garden is wonderful! We also appreciated the strong air con during the heatwave. The location is good for visiting the beach (about 10 mins walk) and there's a bakery, pizzeria and a few shops within 5 mins walk... We hired a car and could quickly and easily reach a large hypermarket (Carrefour) in about 5-7 mins drive and La Ciotat centre in roughly 10 minutes drive. The host is lovely and always responded very quickly to our messages.

As a few other reviews have mentioned, the traffic from the main road is quite noisy but you can't see the road from the apartment or the garden and we still very much enjoyed being in the garden. The sound of the cicadas in the trees also helped to drown out the cars! Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

Espectacular stay at La Ciotat

Everything was perfect! The house was very well equipped. Everything was new and clean and the garden was espectacular. The location was very good too-bakery and butcher was few mins walk. Beach was very close too 5-10min walk. The owners are the nicest people,they recommended us where to go and answered all my questions:) I love La Ciotat and will come back one day!

Great stay at this Ciotat fully furnished small house.

Brand new unit, very clean, nice backyard, air conditionning. Fully furnished, has everything you need for your stay. A lot of attention to detail. Safe for young kids. Location is great, close to everything (beach, restaurant, grocery store, bakery...) Valerie the host was great. Merci beaucoup Valerie, nous avons adoré notre séjour dans votre maisonnette.

Exceptional

Me, my wife and daughter were really amazed by the place. Just perfect design, comfortable small backyard with a lot of zones of relax. I can imagine, with the friends it will be also a really good place for relax and having fun. Kitchen - imagine the best kitchen for you - I almost sure it will be pretty much the same kitchen inside this house with all that you may need for food preparation and serving. From all places that we've been - this is first time, that my daughter and wife said, that did not want to leave.

L’accueil chaleureux, la maison impeccable si joliment décorée et bien pensée, la terrasse, la proximité de la plage. Tout était parfait. Nous avons passé de très belles vacances

Tolles Häuschen (mit Straßenlärm)

Ein tolles Haus. Alles da was man braucht und der Garten davor ist ein Traum. Für uns zwei war super viel Platz, mit vier Leuten wäre es aber auch noch sehr komfortabel. Sehr nette Vermieter. Die Lage zum Strand ist gut, man braucht ca. 5 Minuten, allerdings ist dieser im Sommer sehr voll. Zum Hafen braucht man allerdings schon gut 30 Minuten zu Fuß. Ein Bäcker und Schlachter, sowie ein kleiner Supermarkt sind in der Nähe.

Von der Straße ist es sehr laut! Die Hauptdurchgangsstraße liegt direkt vor der Tür und zwischen den Kreiseln wird meist laut beschleunigt. Wir wohnen mitten in einer Großstadt, aber selbst für uns war es anfangs noch sehr laut. Nach ein paar Tagen gewöhnt man sich langsam dran.

Formidable Séjour familial.

Un séjour parfait dans la petite maisonnette de La Ciotat ! Valérie est une hôte formidable, accueillante et attentionnée. La maison est joliment décorée, climatisée, avec un brumisateur très pratique et même une agréable douche extérieure. Le jardin offre un bel espace de détente, idéal pour se reposer après une balade dans les calanques ou avant d’aller profiter de la plage à 5' à pied ! Tous les équipements intérieurs étaient à la hauteur de nos attentes.

Petit bémol, mais indépendant de la maison : les moustiques ont décidé de passer leurs vacances avec nous cette année et le bruit de la circulation à proximité peut parfois se faire entendre. Néanmoins, rien qui ne vienne gâcher le séjour.

Maison et son jardin privé sont très mignons. La maison est exceptionnellement bien équipé. On était un couple mais il y’a assez de place pour une famille. La Hôte Valérie est très accueillante, attentive et discrète en même temps.

Dans le jardin, Il y’a du bruit de la rue, mais ça c’est inévitable si vous voulez être près de la plage à La Ciotat, et on s’habitue très vite.

Gastvrijheid, prachtig en met zoveel liefde ingericht. Ruim, comfortabel, goede bedden, alles je je nodig hebt is aanwezig. Prachtige tuin met meerdere ingerichte zithoekjes. Dicht bij het strand en makkelijk parkeren. Zeer vriendelijke eigenaren. Top!

Sopra le aspettative!

Alloggio carinissimo, arredato perfettamente. Si tratta di una dependance con giardinetto indipendente che si trova di fianco alla casa dei proprietari. La casetta si presenta con un bellissimo giardinetto arredato per soggiornarci in pieno relax con divano, sedie, amaca e tavolo per mangiare. Doccia esterna e filo per stendere. All'interno la casa ha un piano terra con spazi studiati perfettamente, una cucina superfornita, un divano (che forse si trasforma in un letto) e un letto matrimoniale a scomparsa. Poi c'è un fantastico soppalco con una scala di legno dove ci sono altri due letti singoli e uno scrittoio. Un angolino di paradiso per i miei due figli che hanno adorato questo posticino dove mettersi a leggere. Bagno comodo con water direttamente nella stanza da bagno (che per le case francesi è un'anomalia ma per gli italiani è una gradita normalità). I proprietari sono stati gentilissimi, carinissimi, accoglienti e attentissimi. Davvero super. A differenza dell'alloggio davvero bellissimo e sopra le nostre aspettative, la cittadina di La Ciotat non è bella... Abbiamo alloggiato qui come punto di appoggio per visitare i meravigliosi Calanchi di Cassis che ci hanno estasiato. Di contro la cittadina di La Ciotat è abbastanza decadente, sembra essere in fase di ristrutturazione e riqualificazione ma per ora l'aspetto è un po' deludente. Lungomare disordinato, con panchine e arredo urbano da rifare. Molto diversa dai meravigliosi centri urbani che danno sul mare del resto della costa. Rimane comunque un alloggio al top, da consigliare.
