Great location. Lots of space (huge bedrooms!). Lovely historic features in the home. Responsive host. Good to have parking (although its super tight). Easy-to-use & effective heating for a winter stay.
Looks better in the photos. Very overdue for a thorough 'spring' clean (windows, walls, floors, appliances etc all quite dirty). After a day of wearing socks around the house, the undersides were black! Lots of basic maintenance/repairs need doing (has an 'incomplete renovation' vibe). Front door code-based lock is temperamental, always took a few attempts to unlock door. Like most properties of a similar age, there's poor soundproofing with the unit below (so you can hear talking, toilets flushing etc). There is also a distinctive (although not overly strong) kind of musty smell in the home.

Location was excellent, near shopping center and stores. The property is private with a secure gate code. Unit is spacious with plenty of room. New appliances and modern kitchen. The property owner was easy to contact.
The property had a terrible mildew odor which made it hard to breath. The place is cute but old and needed a lot of fixing. The pictures make it look better than it really is. It was dirty and dusty. The bed set and towels smelled like mildew, we had to wash them before used them. The beds were hard and uncomfortable. The WiFi wouldn't connect to the TV. The lock box worked half the time, had to call the property owner to open the door.

This beautiful ans spacious unit on the second floor in a duplex was perfect for us. It had everything we needed, from comfortable and stylish furniture to fully stocked new kitchen, plenty of towels, comfortable bedding, parking for 2 cars in the premises and most importantly top notch location in the center of all the action in Los Angeles, super close to Beverly Hills, the Grove and West Hollywood. Host was available and helpful. Checkin was very easy. I would stay here again and recommend to others.

The location was amazing, close to a major luxury mall. The apartment was very large, comfortable, located on the 2nd floor, with brand new kitchen and baths, a formal dining room, washer and dryer installed in the kitchen, and parking in the back. Felt very nice. the owner was nice and helpful. would come back and stay here again. a much better alternative to all the overpriced local hotels.

This unit was amazing. On the 2nd floor, it occupies the entire floor. Very large 3 bedrooms with king size beds, totally renovated bathrooms and fully stocked kitchen with laundry inside, flat screen TV with netflix access, high speed wifi, views of the surrounding neighborhood, parking for 2 cars on the premises, comfortable tasteful furniture, comfortable bedding and towels, and location couldn't get better with everything within walking distance. Highly recommend to anyone staying in LA who wants to be in the middle of it all.

The apartment is centrally located near a major mall and within walking distance to great restaurants. The property was gated and hedged from the street, the apartment was located on the 2nd floor with 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, formal dining room and a kitchen with an island. The apartment seemed to be recently renovated, was very cozy and had comfortable furniture. Great value for the money, considering a room in a nearby hotel was about the same price for the night. I would stay here again.
