Perfect base for exploring Northern Italy

The apartment has phenomenal views of Sondrio and the surrounding landscapes, and was clean and well-appointed. It was a great base for travelling to Bormio for the Winter Olympics, and down to Milan for continuing our holiday. Access to public transport is relatively easy and a local taxi service is available.

The whole property would benefit from handrails on the staircases as they are quite narrow/awkwardly angled in places. An information pack with local shops/services would be useful. Otherwise, this property is great!

Beautiful building, comfortable stay

Beautifully renovated building, great view over the village and the valley. Very clean and very comfortable. Check-in was easy, via WhatsApp. The owner recommended a quick footpath to Sondrio, which we wouldn’t have found on GoogleMaps.

The ceilings are very thin. We heard every single footstep from the apartment above ours.

Stunning apartments with beautiful views.

Beautifully appointed and charming rooms. Such a rural, authentic setting. The view of the alps from the rooftop terrace was stunning! The local bus to Sondrio ran on time and was a huge help in getting around.

Hauling luggage over the stone paths and upstairs was challenging!

the kitchen was really limited, it should be a flat, but the kitchen was really minimalist. no oven, no microwave, one single saucepan, one single pot, not much is you had planned to cook...

Una fantastica vacanza in Valtellina

La struttura si trova nella parte alta di Sondrio, con degli scorci intorno del passato molto affascinanti. La ristrutturazione dello stabile è stata eseguita in maniera molto accurata e merita soggiornarci. Ho trovato tutto perfettamente pulito e in ordine con il necessario per trascorrere qualche giorno di vacanza.

Non è accessibile a persone con deficit motori. Il parcheggio dell’auto è nelle vicinanze ma non adiacente la struttura.

El edificio es precioso, las habitaciones muy cómodas, en nuestro caso una habitación a doble altura. Muy bonito y rústico. Todo nuevo y muy limpio. Francesco el anfitrión fue muy agradable en todo momento y solucionó varios problemas que tuvimos externos al apartamento.

La ubicación, está lejos de Sondrio y no hay transporte público a ciertas horas. Si viajas en coche sin problema, si vienes en tren se complica la cosa. Pero bueno, una anécdota más que contar.

Relax tra le montagne

Ho apprezzato molto la rusticità della struttura. Misto tra pietra e legno, simile alle baite di montagna. Bella la vista sulla montagna. L’appartamento è molto bello e accogliente, provvisto di tutti i comfort. La notte ho dormito meravigliosamente bene, letto comodo in un contesto silenzioso e rilassante.

Il parcheggio privato, non è nelle prossimità della struttura, quindi bisogna fare un breve tratto a piedi, purtroppo il vicolo per raggiungerla ha le scale ed è leggermente in salita, per cui è impossibile da raggiungere soprattutto da persone con disabilità motoria.

la terrazza una piccola perla.. noi ne abbiamo approfittato per farci un thè caldo e ammirare le stelle in cielo. il silenzio durante il giorno viene rotto dagli uccelli e dalla piccola fonte d'acqua accanto alla torre

nella nostra stanza era presente un pinguino, un po' rumoroso anche (credo) se impostato in modalità notte. vero anche che questa è davvero una piccolezza quasi inutile, soprattutto se penso che raramente uno tenga acceso tutta notte il pinguino per raffreddare la stanza, che già fresca è di suo!

Struttura con buone potenzialità, adatta per soggiorni brevi.

Pulizia della struttura veramente ottima, organizzazione cucina semplice ma pulita e con tutto quello che serve, biancheria perfetta, carino il panorama dalla finestra del soggiorno (il cantiere davanti per fortuna era chiuso)

Si tratta di un edificio storico, con affaccio su un vicolo molto poco luminoso. Le finestre sul vicolo non danno quella luminosità che renderebbe più piacevole il soggiorno. Migliorerei pertanto l'illuminazione, secondo me sottodimensionata, in maniera di rendere locali più luminosi ed accoglienti (anche perché hanno tutte le caratteristiche per esserlo). Il bagno ha una piccolissima finestra ed è veramente tetro. Forse sarebbe bene specificare che l'accesso è da un vicolo pavimentato con ciottoli e che non è accessibile alle auto se non dalla parte sopra l'edificio e solo con piccole utilitarie. Questo potrebbe essere un limite per le persone con scarsa mobilità o per portare valige grandi con ruotine (i ciottoli di fiume non agevolano le ruote piccole delle valigie). Il parcheggio riservato c'è ma è a circa 200m a valle del paesino. Lo scarico ed il successivo carico delle valige deve essere fatto lasciando l'auto nella strada stretta per poi portarle attraverso il vicolo acciottolato alla struttura.

Interessantes Objekt, das mit nicht viel Aufwand vom Vermieter noch optimiert werden könnte.

Das historische Gebäude ist sehr gut renoviert, die Einrichtung ist geschmackvoll. Sehr schön ist die gemeinsam nutzbare Dachterrasse.

Die Küchenausstattung ist sehr minimal. Es gab z.B. keine Parmesanreibe, kein Brotmesser/Brotbrett, kein Schälmesser, keine Deckel für die Pfannen. Immerhin gab es einen Korkenzieher und eine Bialetti. Die Unterkunft ist sehr anonym. Außer Anfahrtsvideo, Türcode und Welan-Code gab es keinerlei Informationen, z.B. zu Bus-Fahrplänen, Fußwege nach Sondrio, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Historie des Gebäudes. Die Decken sind nicht gut gedämmt, es gibt Trittschall von der darüberliegenden Wohnung.

Bello stile e confortevole

Posizionato a pochi minuti di macchina da Sondrio dunque molto comodo. Parcheggio vicino allo struttura anche se bisogna fare un pezzo a piedi per forza di cose. Molto carino lo stile che hanno voluto mantenere in quanto l'edificio si vede che è storico ma avendolo ristrutturato poteva perdersi ma invece sono riusciti a mantenerne la bellezza.

Che ci fosse un altra porta chiusa ma non saprei di cosa all'interno della stanza e che comunque l'isolazione acustica non sia delle migliori.
