Texas Ranch House with 5 Bedroom and Fish Pond

The house is Texas huge at 4200', plenty of open space, bedrooms and bathrooms to accomodate a large family gathering as we did. The outsize furniture gives one the feeling of how big the property is. Our king size bed in the MBR looked small. The bathroom is outsize as well with a raised tub, all beautifully tiled. The shower has multiple shower heads and could accomodate several people. The main room has the open kitchen, plenty of counter space and an island gas fired cooking stove. Beyond that is the large TV and several reclining chairs. Upstairs is another large space with additional bedrooms and bathrooms plus a pool table in the center.

We were told the pool table was broken and unusable. Bummer. One corner of the large room was populated with wasps inside the room. One of our family had to kill them prior to anyone feeling comfortable up there. We later learned that a large party had been held there earlier in the week and left it in poor condion. The owner did tell us that they were replacing the tired carpet with another flooring material and would be completed soon. This did not help our time there, but we were granted a modest refund for the inconvenience. Fair enough.

I love the location and the house

It says a 5 bedroom and fish pond. One of the reasons I booked. But the day of I get a text about no fishing and to use the game wall it’s 100 dollars more each day . Any home I have rented with game area coming with renting the house
