The apartment is very close to the city center. It has a spacious living room. Windows are equipped with mosquito nets, which is important because they were all around after sunset and before sunrise. Groceries and a bakery are just at the corner. Parking is free of charge and we could always find an empty place. The internet was very good, with high speed. The check-in and check-out went smoothly.

It was also strange that the cleaner asked us to remove all the wastes from the apartment before check out. It was difficult, because waste had to be separated and the utility takes only one or two types of wastes a day. So at your final day you inevitably end up having some waste in the waste bins. On the streets there aren't any public collection points where you could discard your waste. So I took the waste to the beach, where I could find a waste bin, but there were a lot of garbage around it. So finally I left it there. I think waste disposal is not the responsibility of the guest in this circumstances, but the hosts'. Interestingly in Matera our host did it for us. I received many e-mails from the host. Several concerning the online check-in, which was smooth. They kept coming until you do the online check-in. Other informed us that towels and bed linens cost extra.
