Gîte Ferme Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval

The lay out of the house is sensibly done. Almost everything was thought of. The kitchen countertops are deep and high and many cooking appliances are available. The bed is very comfortable; we slept extremely well each night. The location is central to many hikes in the area, including some trails just near the house. The village is sleepy and on the way to nowhere so it was quiet, aside from the sound of the rushing water all around. The views of the surrounding mountains are a bonus. It rained quite a bit during our stay but we were still able to get a good hike in, somewhere nearby, each day. Just keep an eye on the weather and plan accordingly.

The toilet room ceiling is low and it is necessary, if you are just a little bit tall, to bend down. This is the only less than perfect thing we found with our stay, and it is not very grave.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce chalet familial plein de charme. Le lieu est magnifique, chaleureux, extrêmement propre et décoré avec beaucoup de goût, avec des matériaux et des équipements de grande qualité. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l’accueil, la disponibilité et la gentillesse de notre hôte, qui a su nous transmettre sa passion pour ses montagnes et son amour du chalet. Ses conseils et recommandations de lieux à découvrir ont été un vrai plus et ont rendu notre voyage encore plus agréable. Nous repartons avec de très beaux souvenirs et recommandons ce lieu sans hésitation.

très bon emplacement bien qu'un peu loin des stations en hiver. très bon point pour le poêle qui donnait une bonne chaleur aussi bien visuellement que moralement en rentrant des pistes le soir! magnifique restauration du Chalet! avec un propriétaire passionné par sa région!

Pour nous il manquait une chambre.
