I had a great time at this cozy cottage located in Gagar, Uttarakhand. It's only a short 20-30 minute drive from Nainital Mall Road. The cottage is well connected to local buses, but it's important to note that the buses only run between 8-10 am. After that, it's difficult to find a local bus. The staff at the cottage were very helpful. They assisted us in arranging taxis whenever we needed them. They were especially helpful when we wanted to visit the Neem Karoli Baba Ashram. The food at the cottage was also delicious and prepared with cleanliness in mind. They made home-style meals according to our preferences. The cottage itself is beautiful and offers a peaceful atmosphere. The location is breathtaking, perfect for those looking to escape from city life. You can enjoy a beautiful sunrise from your window and breathe in clean air. If you're looking to relax, enjoy good food, and soak in the peaceful hillside, this place is ideal. It's located away from the main hustle of Nainital. Additionally, they have fruit trees on the property, so you can even pick and eat fruits from the trees. In conclusion, my stay at this cottage was amazing. The staff was helpful, the surroundings were beautiful, and the food was delicious. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in nature.

It's worth mentioning that you'll need to trek about 300-400 meters to reach the cottage, which might be difficult for older people. But for younger folks, it's definitely worth it.
