Location = Amazing. A true retreat for us. A must stay if you are in downtown. The property was fantastic and the history of the building was quite interesting from reading the information booklet. The home was decorated beautifully and the entire "apartment" was quite expansive. The pictures on the website do not do this place justice at all. It was like we stepped back into another time and we felt right at home (imagine the Biltmore commercial and staying in one of their rooms but in real life), the only regret we have is we did not stay longer!

Battleship View greatly exceeded our expectations! Very roomy and comfortable for a two-bedroom condo. Beautifully decorated by owner with quality furnishings! Artwork was most interesting and of best quality. Several bars/restaurants are very convenient and within easy walking distance. River walk is two blocks away. Condo is in a historic building built in 1903. Wilmington enjoys a historic past and is filled with North Carolina Historical Markers!

The photos of this place do not do it justice. It was so beautifully decorated, very large, comfortable, and great location! I also appreciated the book telling about the history of the building. We enjoyed our stay here so much and I would highly recommend it! Part of the charm of this place is being right in the historic area and hearing the street sounds from below, it was quite peaceful actually, but I will say if you are a light sleeper you may want to being some earplugs for night time.
