About this house rental
This dedicated guest space is in the River Oaks neighborhood, just off of S. 14th and Sylvan, the center of Abilene. While attached to a home, this mother-in-law suite has dedicated parking spaces (with room for a trailer), a porch, a private entrance, and self-check-in.
The suite has what a traveler needs: a queen bed, seating area, kitchenette with refrigerator and microwave, and a new bathroom (with a separate toilet room). If you want to exercise by walking or running through our neighborhood, we have wide, paved, tree-lined streets. The neighborhood homes are authentic mid-century and becoming more updated by the day.

This property is a gem. Beautiful location, with all the comforts you look for when traveling. Easy access, convenient and safe parking, aesthetically pleasing decor, high quality linens and a very comfy bed. The hosts have provided all the little details you could imagine, in a wonderfully efficient and inviting space. Quiet and peaceful, for a stress free stay. I would definitely recommend and visit again. Thanks for everything!!

Here are both updated:Option 1 – Warm & PersonalWe’ve made the trip to Abilene many times over the past three years to visit our daughter at ACU, but this visit came with added stress — we were moving her home early after an injury requiring surgery. Having a clean, quiet, and peaceful space to come back to each evening made a difficult trip so much more manageable. We’re already looking forward to returning in December for her graduation and hope to book one of your larger homes to accommodate the whole family!Option 2 – Concise & Review-FocusedWe’ve stayed in Abilene regularly over the past three years visiting our daughter at ACU, and this was by far our most meaningful stay. We were in town under tough circumstances — moving her home early due to an upcoming surgery — and the cleanliness, quiet, and peaceful atmosphere of this space were exactly what we needed. It made a hard trip genuinely restful. We’re already planning to return in December for graduation and will be looking to book one of your larger homes to fit the whole family!

Lovely suite in town and very close to Abilene shops, restaurants, etc. Enjoyed the porch bird watching. Communication with manger was excellent.
