Absolutely loved being here. This was the perfect spot for some much needed rest and relaxation. The home had everything we needed

House & pier were excellent. No fish because of the wind, but still enjoyable.

One of the best stays we’ve had an a long time!! The location is amazing to start. The views were incredible, and we spent almost all of our time outside. The private pier was a game changer compared to other areas. Our 14yr old and my husband caught some red fish, black drums, gafftops, and a couple sting rays. We brought our 13 month old too and it was great staying in a place that was kid friendly in the house and he was able to explore and run around outside without us being too worried about what he was getting into. The house itself was very clean and air conditioner worked great. The kitchen had great appliances and everything worked well, the only thing I would say is if you’re planning on cutting any meat/need sharp knives definitely bring some from home. The host was very helpful and was easy to contact in regards to any questions and anything we might need. 10/10 family vacation spot, especially if you have kids that love being outside and enjoy fishing. We’ll definitely be coming back again!!

In a very respectful message, I asked the owner of this property to please let us know he would fix our concerns for future occupants. With no reply, we are sharing our tainted experience. While this place was clean in visible areas, has pleasant views (except for the rundown and possibly abandoned place yards away), comfortable beds, and a nice porch area with 2 lovely wooden rockers, there were definitely issues. No entry code had ever been sent to us for access to the home. The host did respond promptly to that message. Maintenance issues include a defective ceiling fan in one bedroom, a missing dispenser cover in the dishwasher, and a front door with a wide gap in the seal that we discovered needs a trick to lock. Dishes in the cabinets had caked-on food. Had to vigorously scrub pots and pans for 1st night’s use. Being tired after an evening arrival, we only rinsed dishes. Dishwasher had not been emptied, and clean Items not found until the following day. In 30 yrs, we’ve never had to put away dishes from a prior occupant. Hadn’t even thought to look. Supplies were not as advertised. Extremely watered down hand soaps with sediment at the bottom. No laundry supplies present. A couple travel bottles of shampoo for a 4 night stay. Limited dish soap that we just replaced. Turned over and 90% empty supply bottles littered cabinets. These things, plus delayed and the non-responses on our departure day, do not reflect a fully conscientious host. Do not recommend.
