About this cottage rental
This historic 1935 farmhouse, capped with a tin roof transports you to another era. Discounts offered for weekly or longer stays. EV charger available at the house. Fully remodeled including high speed internet and smart TVs. The cottage is open to fabulous views and modern country living with a chef's kitchen. Fincastle is centrally located to area amenities/outdoor activities like hiking, canoeing, kayaking, biking, vineyards, festivals and a night sky for stargazing.
Back patio includes propane grill to eat or lounge with a full view of the Blue Ridge Mountains, including Sharp Top and Flat Top. Firepit includes a grill attachment if you prefer to cook over wood or charcoal. Firewood available in the shed. Garage is available to store kayaks, canoes, bicycles, or other gear.
The "bunkhouse" behind the cottage for additional sleep/play space finally received the remodel it needed for updated electric and full over twin bunkbed. The separate building bunkhouse has it's own TV, small fridge, microwave and room heater/ac unit.
We still have other projects to the surrounding buildings and acres to finish in between bookings.

Suzanne was great very accommodating. Beautiful house with a wonderful view of the mountains and valley. The sunrise and sunset was beautiful. She let the kids give the horses a treat which they absolutely loved. We will be back. Would give 6 stars if I could!

Outstanding Host who really takes care of you! BEAUTIFUL PROPERTY!!! It will not disappoint!!! It has everything you need fire wood, coffee, laundry! Totally updated property!! Do not hesitate to book!!! I am coming back!

Suzanne was most welcoming and gracious! She went above and beyond with her choice of linens and little extras around the house. The view from the kitchen sink is much more spectacular than the picture shows. We truly enjoyed our week's stay. Thank you, Suzanne!

This place was a perfect spot for our family. Very clean and the beds were comfortable. Suzanne was super kind and responsive and even took my boys to go feed the horses she has. Definitely would stay here again!!
