Inside, the first floor features a cozy bedroom with a double and single bed, showcasing original art by local artists, while practical furniture offers generous storage. If preferred, delicious meals can be catered directly to the townhouse by Jaco Homes.
Adjacent to the kitchen, the dining area includes custom-made furniture crafted from fine Costa Rican wood, complemented by a bookcase stocked with helpful resources like field guides, binoculars, and flashlights. Relax in the spacious living room, featuring comfortable seating and an HD TV perfect for streaming your favorite shows. A washer and dryer are available for your convenience.
SECONDO FLOOR
On the second floor, find two master bedrooms—aptly named the Kimono and Buddha rooms—each with king-sized beds, ample closets, en-suite bathrooms, and unique Japanese decorative touches, including authentic silk kimono wedding dresses. The Kimono room features a traditional-style seating area and wall-mounted TV, while the Buddha room includes a beautifully carved Buddha sculpture, a custom work desk, and a laser printer-copier. Both bedrooms provide access to a spacious balcony, furnished with rocking chairs and a cozy sofa for peaceful mornings or quiet evenings.
ROOFTOP BALCONY

•. Guests can access the entire house except for locked drawers, the utility room, the homeowners’ closets and the large safe. The small safe near the first-floor bedroom is for your use.

•. Security features: The ADT security system and exterior cameras are installed for guest safety and property security. There are no cameras in the living quarters.
The Neighborhood:
Because of its altitude Cerro Fresco -meaning “cool hill”, always has a fresh breeze and very pleasant temperature. There are many beautiful homes and retreats in this area due to the amazing ocean views and exorbitant jungle. If you enjoy nature, wildlife, and the sound of cicadas… this is the place for you. This neighborhood is quiet and peaceful all around. This area is also full of beautiful birds all year round! Toucans, scarlet macaws, kiskadees… Also lots of monkeys, sloths, coatimundis and other native mammals are a daily sight making this location perfect for birdwatching lovers and wildlife photography enthusiasts.
There are plenty of trails to explore and hike!
You will not find restaurants or supermarkets nearby but you will find everything you need at just a short drive to Playa Hermosa where you will find wonderful beachfront restaurants, bars, supermarkets, and the best waves for surfing!
Getting Around:
We recommend to our guests the use of 4x4 vehicles since the road to home can be very steep, slippery when it rains, cracked and narrow for certain vehicles.
Renting a car or booking a dedicated daily driver for your group are the best two options that we can help accommodate for your trip in order to move around town with ease.
We don't recommend trying to rely on taxi service or Uber due to the fact that rates might be too high and service coverage will not always be available in the area.
Other Things to Note:
• We listened to our guests and just finished doing renovations in the house to take care of issues with humidity due to the rainy season, but now the house is ready for our next guests to enjoy!
• We recommend all-wheel drive cars in Costa Rica, especially from May to November, due to challenging road conditions during heavy rain.
• Security features: The ADT security system and exterior cameras are installed for guest safety and property security. There are no cameras in the living quarters.

This is our 9th trip to Costa Rica and this is one of the best views we've experienced. We enjoyed the BBQ grill, the shade and the breeze from the rooftop deck as well as the panoramic view of both Hermosa and Jaco. We had white faced monkeys on the property most days when we were home around sunset. We are cooks, and the kitchen was well equipped with everything you need. Bonus rice cooker and instant pot. We enjoyed the pool and the hammocks with their own secluded area and view. We loved the East meets West decor and would highly recommend this home.

Jaco Homes was amazing at communicating for all our needs. They helped with Taxi's, Personal Chef, tours, power outage, and check out... I will be using them again when I come visit again.

Our group of 7 adults enjoyed 6 nights at this wonderful home. The description in the listing was spot on. There are several outdoor sitting areas from which to enjoy the view (and we used all of them!) and the wildlife. We had three in our group who were working remotely and they had no trouble finding a quiet place to complete their projects (decent WIFI too).
The location was not a problem for us, but I would suggest a 4WD vehicle is necessary during rainy season on the steep and rutted dirt road up to the house. That said, it was only a ten minute drive down the mountain to the nearest store for essentials.
Finally, the hosts were exceptional in their response to any questions or issues that we had during our stay.
I could not ask for a better experience.
