Pro: house is big, kitchen is well stocked. Cons: While appearances are nice, it's all smoke and mirrors. The little putters in the backyard for the mini golf are broken. All the pool cues are warped or have fraying handle wraps. The converted garage, whew, all they did was tack fabric over the garage door. VERY weird host, into surveilling things remotely. We couldn't use the outside space due to constantly barking dog next door. If that doesn't bother you, fine, but it bothered us, and for a listing that stresses the importance of being quiet (including the house has a "noise monitor" system) the host was way too nonchalant about the dog, saying "we've had prior complaints but there's nothing we can do about it." When the internet was acting up and we asked where the router was so that we could re-set it, the host accused me of "tampering" with the TV settings (I did not) and yelled at me on the phone like I was stupid (I am not). The host insisted that the internet provider told her there was nothing wrong with the service, and even after I texted her a photo, insisted that the TV did not have the feature that I was *literally looking at* while we were on the phone. We ended up having to use our own hotspot to get internet. Beware also that for some unknown reason, they have google nest "point" wifi extender devices that have google assistant, meaning it has a microphone and is listening to you. When we discovered this device we switched it off and notified VRBO.

We are family of nine . Six adults and three teenagers having a Christmas vacation in Palm Springs and also attending a family wedding. The house was decorated for Christmas making it feel special. The pool table was a great hit for the boys as well as the other games. The patio was lovely to have morning coffee.
