Services were amazing, friendly environment

Everything was perfect

My room at the house was spacious and very clean. As were the bathroom next door to my room and the downstairs kitchen. The owner of the house was polite and well turned out. Next to the house there are a couple of convenience stores.

I had to wait until 8 p.m. to get into the property as the owner was at work before then. However, this had been agreed beforehand. (I didn't arrive in Northampton until 6 p.m. anyway.) The property is rather out of town. But not far from a local bus route.

it was good value for money, the single room was downstairs with the toilet opposite so although it was shared it was just for me.

The stay met the basic expectations and provided what was needed for a short visit. Check‑in and general access were straightforward, with no major issues. The value for money was good.

The overall experience felt passable rather than comfortable, with several areas clearly needing improvement. Some facilities didn’t appear well‑maintained or as polished as expected. I always check around the bed for cleanliness, and during this stay I found a flannel and a baby’s dummy left by the previous guest down the side of the bed, which was disappointing and raised concerns about the room’s cleaning standards. The location was inconvenient. It’s far from Northampton station and far from the town centre, which made getting around more difficult than expected. The surrounding area also didn’t feel practical for anyone relying on public transport or wanting easy access to shops and amenities. Considering the location, the room's condition, and the overall comfort, the stay was not memorable.
