Beautiful apartment , very comfortable space to be in, well equipped kitchen,fantastic roof deck and great spot in Monopoli!

- Decor - we loved the design and the light airiness about the property. All the fittings were of high quality and the whole apartment was beautifully put together; no ‘cast off’ furniture or furnishings here! - Position - perfect! Lovely view of the harbour and easy access to the pedestrian area - and so also to cafes gelaterias and restaurants. As it happened we were staying to celebrate our 40th anniversary and the restaurant I had booked to celebrate was literally round the corner from the apartment 👍. - Responsive and welcoming host. Gianmaria met us at the apartment, and helped us bring our luggage up the 2 steep flights of steps. We mentioned before we arrived that we only drank decaf coffee and so he ensured a pack of Nespresso-compatable decaf pods were waiting for us. He also left us a v drinkable rose wine. All queries we had about waste disposal he answered and when it appeared that the macerator in the kitchen had gone wrong he came round and sorted it that afternoon. He was knowledgeable about the area and so advised us how to arrange a day out, sightseeing at the Trullis of Alberobello, then caves at Castellana all topped off by an excellent wine tasting at the vineyard of Giovanni Aiello - a friend of his. What a brilliant experience! Very good award-winning wines and a table full of delicious food! What more could we want!! Roof Terrace - a wonderful way to get a tan whilst protected from the off-ocean breeze. Balcony - a lovely place to watch the comings and goings of boats in the harbour!

1. Stairs. To actually get into the property there are 3 flights of stairs. Not a huge issue - unless you are infirm! 2. Night Club. At one end of the harbour there was an open air nightclub. Loud music until deep into the night (only at weekends), but it didn’t’ stop us sleeping at all! 3. Parking. Outside of the core summer months parking is free EXCEPT at weekends, when it is €2 per hour from 0830 to 0130. We simply sucked up the cost as the free parking was a good 15 min walk away. Inside the core summer months you have to pay for every hour you park. Could be expensive!!

Très bel appartement,restauré avec goût ,très bien équipé,idéalement situé au pied du centre historique. La terrasse est très agréable.

Des rideaux plus occultants dans la chambre seraient un plus.
