Everything was really delightful, the room, the kitchen, the dining room, everything. There was a really nice and relaxed atmosphere. The cheese board prepared for our first evening was excellent and very good value. What really stood out was the kindness and helpfulness of the owners. They went out of their way to help when our car developed a fault, told us about the light show at the cathedral which was finishing that day and advised on how best to get into Rouen. We were only a short walk from the Metro station that took us into the centre of Rouen so it couldn't have much more convenient.
Nothing to do with our accommodation but our time was slightly spoilt by most of the attractions in Rouen being either closed or completely booked out for the National Heritage weekend. This didn't really ruin our time there and means we will have to come back in the future.

The property was beautifully decorated and comfortable. You can see a lot of thought has gone into every detail.
