Value for money. If you on a budget trip to Redang, this the place. You dont need to take the snorkelling package. Just walk to Long Beach around 15-20 minutes walking + hiking, rent a Life Jacket and Snorkelling goggles from Laguna, standby small pieces of breads in a small plastic bottle and you are good to go. Bring your own snacks / instant noodles / breads as the nearest restaurant is 15 minutes walk + hike.
Insects. Need to prepare insects / bug repellent / egg trays to burn at night. End of the day, what you pay for is what you get.

beautiful location, nothing beats waking up on the beach
beds were not very comfortable or clean, was extremely hot so be prepared for that and quite a walk to shops or anything else
