Luxury Flat, few minutes from Fanabe Beach!

Prima appartementje gelegen in een toffe locatie. De sleutels werden ons gegeven door een zeer sympathieke dame die ons de nodige uitleg gaf en voor wie geen vraag teveel was. Gerieflijk keukentje met alles wat nodig was om een deftige maaltijd te kunnen bereiden. Mooi zongericht terras en een groot tv-scherm.

De zitbank (ook slaapbank) was een beetje oncomfortabel, toch zeker voor mensen met een kleine gestalte.

Struttura pulitissima e confortevole, ha tutto ciò di cui si può aver bisogno. Lavatrice comodissima. Posizione strategica a pochi passi dal mare e con una bella camminata sul lungo mare si arriva sia a las Américas che a playa del Duque.

Location and the lady (Mery) who gave clear directions for collection of the key was kind and responsive.

While the flat was advertised as a luxury flat, the amenities were by no means luxury but below basics. The pillows were too thin and very uncomfortable. The host refused our request for two more pillows and replied bluntly that the pillows were not in a condition that he should buy us two additional new ones! The pillows caused us neck pain and we had to use our thick jackets as pillows. I suggest the host try sleeping on those pillows to feel the discomfort! The mattress of the sofa bed at the living room was a bit dirty and the bedsheet was worn out and should have been replaced. The only toiletries provided were a bottle of hand wash and one toilet roll. There was no bath gel nor shampoo. It would be much more convenient if the host could be kind or generous enough to spend a few Euros to provide them for travellers’ convenience. The Netfix at the flat didn’t work as one single account was being used by too many users or apartments at the same time. (Please see photo of Netfix’s pop up). Overall, it doesn’t deserve of the good rating award of Booking.com and we were misled by that award. Our family’s Christmas holiday was spoiled by the uncomfortable 4 nights stay! P.S. The photos of the worn out bedsheet of the sofa bed, the Netfix screen and records of our communication with the host speak louder for the truth! We are just ordinary holiday makers giving our honest review based on our actual experience for other travellers’ reference in making their informed decision. We did not ask for free lunch from the host but paid 586 Euros for 4 nights’ uncomfortable stay. It is a shame that the host blatantly denies the facts and blame others for an honest review. The host is most welcome to report our comments to Booking.com!
