In some ways, this is a great hotel. Given that my Spanish is almost non-existent, being able to communicate with staff was hit-and-miss. The ones who spoke English, spoke it well. Those who didn’t, well that’s on me for not speaking Spanish.
Pros: My room was nice and clean. The restaurant food was excellent - one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. Dessert was fantastic. Proximity to the marina & local establishments was also really good.
Cons: Air conditioning was very noisy. The wedding reception on the floor directly above me was even noisier. And the view out of my room window? How I love looking at condemned buildings and piles of concrete rubble and trash!
That’s it. Nice & clean hotel, but it ain’t no beach resort.
