Beloc House Lopud Island

We had a lovely peaceful seating area amongst trees, great for breakfast and a shady area to relax out of the sun. We also had rooftop seating with loungers and a table and an astonishing sunset view over the sea and the rest of the island. Beds were all very comfortable, air conditioning and kitchen worked well. An outdoor shower was nice to rinse off under after the sea. Despite a bit of a language barrier, our host Ana was lovely and welcoming, very attentive and caring and made a delicious cake for us! The price for the facilities was very good and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting.

It was slightly misleading on the booking which building we were going to be in. It shows lots of photos of sea facing properties, and there is an option when booking to select a preference of first floor or ground floor (which we selected) rooms. We ended up being in what appeared to be a different building behind a restaurant. Although in the end we actually preferred this due to the garden out the back of the building, the rooftop view and seating and overall privacy, it would have been good to know in advance that we weren't staying somewhere directly overlooking the sea and beach like we expected. There was also an issue with limited hot water, only 1/4 of us were able to take a hot shower consecutively, even when showering very quickly. We didn't mind too much due to the hot weather, and our host tried to help out but we struggled communicating a bit - I'm sure this issue is an easy fix though and it did not negatively impact our stay.

Die Unterkunft liegt direkt am Meer, von wo aus man auch direkt ins Wasser gehen kann. Davor kann man auch auf bereitgestellten Gartenmöbeln sitzen und den Sonnenuntergang genießen. Die Vermieterin war sehr freundlich und zur Begrüßung gab es einen Kuchen sowie zwei kalt gestellte Biere. Alles war sauber und gemütlich, auch Badehandtücher wurden bereitgelegt. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

We had the most wonderful stay at this apartment on Lopud Island and can’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, Anna welcomed us with such kindness and warmth. She is truly a lovely and incredibly friendly host. On our first day, she surprised us with **two homemade cakes**, which was such a thoughtful gesture and made us feel instantly at home. When our daughter needed medical attention, Anna didn’t hesitate—she helped us find a doctor right away, something we were deeply grateful for. Throughout our stay, she prepared **delicious dinners** for us and made sure we had absolutely everything we needed. Her hospitality went far beyond what we expected. Her son, who handled our communication before and during the trip, was also fantastic—very helpful and always quick to respond to any message. The apartment itself was spacious, comfortable, and perfectly equipped for a relaxing holiday. We had a beautiful view over the sea, and the space included a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge‑freezer, two hobs, and all the basic kitchen appliances and utensils we needed. The bedrooms had large beds and plenty of wardrobe space, making it ideal for a longer stay. We loved our time here so much that we will **definitely be coming back**. It truly felt like a home away from home, thanks to Anna and her family’s exceptional hospitality.

Excellent location, clean comfortable homey feel with many options to spread out. Ana our host was exceptional. Step out front door to the most beautiful sunsets with own table and chairs to enjoy a glass of wine. Quick easy access to the best restaurant Dubrovnik and access to Sunj Beach.

Nothing to complain about, all was great!
