A de Bego

Super place to stay that feels like a little oasis away from the main camino stages. The hospitality is super personal that it felt like your private holiday home, the room was excellent, the garden relaxing, the fridge stocked with rehydration treats, and dinner and breakfast superb. (Each guest’s breakfast was delivered individually, yet it felt like a pilgrim meal atmosphere around the table to start the day - just lovely). Add to that fresh laundry option… de Bego spoilt me. Instead of a zero km rest-day on the Camino, plan a short day of walking and put your feet up at A de Bego instead. Note: there are no options to eat unless you taxi to a nearby restaurant. However, A de Bego provides meals full of fresh goodness straight from the garden. You won’t miss dining out!

He’s a little off the way, but a great room and hostess

Lovely relaxed stay on the Camino, we had a private room with bathroom which was great. Bego was a lovely host who made us pizza & salad which was perfect after a long walk, there’s an honesty bar. The property has lovely views & you even get a wax stamp. The property is just off the Camino but not much & the directions were easy to follow

Beautiful location, staff were so helpful to make sure we were happy. You could purchase beer, wine for nominal fees. In the evening to save us walking into town they had a selection of pizzas to choose from.

I personally found the mattress too soft and I couldn’t sleep. I had to put blankets on the floor and pull the bed covering off the bed to cover me on the floor.
